Love the blog...can you run on any trails up there?
How much ice and snow is covering Godzilla? Is he 100% covered today?

Alex, the pictures you take are extraordinary! I look for them each day. They make me homesick for the mountain tops. My question...how do you know all these international greetings? I'm curious to know where you look them up or perhaps you are fluent in each! =)
Hi Alex, I really enjoy reading your blog and seeing your photos. Its been about 20 years since i was on LeConte. I used to backpack up in the winter either with one friend or a group. I have had some knee problems- one replaced, but hope to be able to hike up again sometime in warmer weather. First trip up was in the 1950's .....long time ago.
I guess I am a little confused. Your at the top of a snow covered mountain, alone...what do you do with your time? You obviously don't write much in the way of your blog or seem to answer any questions that people leave for you. You think you would be so bored that you would take the time to write more, but you must have a lot to do every day...I can't help but wonder, what?
We were there on 11/11 and thought we had a lot snow. This is so cool. Glad I am not tryig to get up or down, but love the pictures. Beautiful!
With that snow and the lamp post I was looking for Mr. Tumnus to come around the corner! :)
No snow at Graceland in Memphis yet.http://www.elvis.com/graceland/graceland_cam.aspx
The pictures are absolutely amazing! The one with the Cardinal should be on a Christmas card. I have been to Mt.LeConte in the summer and the fall and I just can't believe the amount of snow that is there in the winter. Thanks for the blog and great pictures.
Welcome to the LeConte Lodge blog. We hope you enjoy the information we provide to make your trip to the lodge the best it can be.
