Alex, the pictures you take are extraordinary! I look for them each day. They make me homesick for the mountain tops. My question...how do you know all these international greetings? I'm curious to know where you look them up or perhaps you are fluent in each! =)

Hi Alex, I really enjoy reading your blog and seeing your photos. Its been about 20 years since i was on LeConte. I used to backpack up in the winter either with one friend or a group. I have had some knee problems- one replaced, but hope to be able to hike up again sometime in warmer weather. First trip up was in the 1950's .....long time ago. I guess I am a little confused. Your at the top of a snow covered mountain, alone...what do you do with your time? You obviously don't write much in the way of your blog or seem to answer any questions that people leave for you. You think you would be so bored that you would take the time to write more, but you must have a lot to do every day...I can't help but wonder, what?

The pictures are absolutely amazing! The one with the Cardinal should be on a Christmas card. Comments are closed.
