![]() Summer on the mountain is a busy time. We get a lot of families make the hike to the top and spend the night. Believe it or not, the kids get up here and still have tons of energy to explore the mountain until the sun goes down. It is fun to listen to the sounds of the kids playing hide and seek, turning over rocks looking for salamanders, or playing tag. The sounds of summer makes its way to Mt. LeConte as well.

Yes, a nice photo from Cliff Tops; another few feet to the left and a small portion of Gatlinburg would be in view; but I can't spot Cliff Tops from the town !

The energetic-kids-playing-hide-and-seek-party had a great time. We loved the new staff, Ranger Dave is so passionate about the Park, and the cookies were a big hit! We'll see you all again next year. Comments are closed.
