If the flowers were not blooming all around the mountain, I would have sworn it was fall. The high yesterday was 59º with a low of 47º. It has been seasonally cool with beautiful skies. I hope it is giving us a preview for what is to come in September. I have noticed a lot of families saying their kids start back to school soon. It won't belong before we only see actual tree limbs in the big tree all the kids climb.

It sure was beautiful up there yesterday. I enjoyed seeing all the flowers and especially the llamas!!!!!!! I also love the 2014 shirt with the llamas on it. I never realized it was only 51 degrees up there. I never even put my jacket on.

Now that I have done them all my favorite route would be to go up Boulevard and down Alum.

I hope those flowers are still blooming in a couple weeks when I head up.

Two years ago I did the opposite...went up Alum and down Boulevard. I think Boulevard is my favorite trail even though it is long...the views and solitude are awesome. Didn't pass many people on Boulevard until we were about 2 miles from the end.
