The Lodge is experiencing some technical difficulties with their cellular service, and hope to have it remedied in a few days. The posts will return as soon as these challenges are overcome.

Wondered why there were no blogs for past three days. Appreciate the weather reports, llama reports, etc. as I watch the mountain from below.

If you're hear for a weather update, don't forget that there's an update on the main lodge page that will also give you a point forecast for your upcoming hike.

Glad to hear someone else is having technical difficulties. Due to the 3 tornadoes that hit my hometown of Kokomo Indiana I was without power from this past Wednesday until today (Saturday) at 4 pm. But the good news I didn't personally have any damage but a lot of people did, though the really good news is that no one was killed or seriously hurt. Second one in 3 years that took out some of the same properties but the Community is pulling together to do the clean up and help others less fortunate out.

I saw the damage on the news... glad you're OK. You're right that 3 days without power is nothing compared to losing everything in a twister. I lived in Indy for 5 years (college and 1st job afterward) and remember spending time each spring watching weird color clouds and hoping they'd go north or south. Even though we have our share of tornadoes here in Middle TN, the clouds don't turn that shade of purplish-green that they do in Hoosierland.
