Hello,

The High was 22 and The Low was 18 Last night. The Clouds have moved in this morning and It's a pretty safe bet they'll be here through monday after hearing the weather forecast. They're calling for snow/ice mix to start tonight around midnight. People on the trail yesterday said that Allum was very icy and near impassable at some points.

Good morning, Alex,
Thanks for the sweet picture and the update. I kind of like my temperatures better for today. 30's and 60's and sunshine (Birmingham AL)
Keep warm!

How do you get your spring water in the winter up there? Is there a spring up top somewhere?

There used to be a spring near the lodge, if it has not dried up. Water comes out of a pipe in the side of a hill. Great water! You may need to boil it to be safe.

Thanks, Alex, for the pics and updates. Kitchen looks great and ready for the 2011 season. Especially liked the sunrise. What a magnificent view to wake up to! Envy you. Keep the pics coming! It is a BIG part of my day to long on and see the latest.

Alex, I came up Alum on Thursday, took 4hrs. It is not for beginners, but not as wicked as it was in Feb. I think you were in the kitchen singing. Started to join in, but you would surely have ask me to leave. Maybe see you next time, I am up regularly.

Alexander "Supertramp" Hughes!

Good Morning, My Friend,

Hope all is well on the mountain. Stay warm and when you get bored, just think of the rest of us down in the valley imprisoned by our cubicles!

Dogspeed!
