The joke is on us. We just thought spring was here. The thermometer says other wise. It was a lovely 25 degrees this morning. There is a light dusting on the ground. I don't think the trails should be impacted by this. There doesn't seem to be much ice on the ground. Yesterday was a breezy 59 degrees.

Well, a week later than last years snow but I remember our spring hike where we hiked up in the rain, then the sleet, and finally the snow during the last week of April. The temps dropped drastically overnight and the next morning it was 22 degrees with beautiful blue skies and 5 inches of snow on the ground. Wonderful memories.

Winter, like hikers, just doesn't want to leave LeConte. As always, great photos!

Oh my goodness gracious! Will it ever stop snowing? Maybe I should push my trip for next month back until July or August.
