 “The beginning is the most important part of the work.”- Plato What a way to start the day. The sunrise this morning was splendid. It has been a busy weekend thus far. I am sure today will be a continuation of yesterday. The trees in the higher elevations are bursting with color. The temperatures are perfect for hiking. Hikers are everywhere capturing the wonderful display the park has to offer. The temperatures are still in the 60's during the day and 40's and night.

Thanks for the GREAT Lunch yesterday! We had the big group that used 3 tables! The food was so good & fulfilling after the hike up! We enjoyed the Beautiful views from the top! The colors are Breathtaking coming up! Thanks again for making our visit so enjoyable!

Good morning thank you for the blog.I will be coming up in about a week and would like to take the boulevard. I would like to know if it is well marked to find may way to the lodge. Thank You

Don, I've used the Boulevard and the trail is well marked with no false trails. After leaving the AT, a marked trail titled the jump off is on the right which (I think) offers a view of Charlie's Bunion.

I just want to say thank you 4 opening up the gift shop early so I could purchase a t shirt and a patch. I can only imagine how busy you are on a daily basis. That was my first time at the summit . I will be back up there this sunday I can't wait . Comments are closed.
