The sun has arrived!

3/15/2015

Picture
Our first sunny day on the mountain! Sometime in the night all the rain and gloom blew off and left us with a beautiful day to enjoy. Our low last night was 27 with a high yesterday of 45. Today we are hovering around 40 degrees, but the sunshine makes it feel much warmer.

Today for the crew is the dreaded "kitchen day". We've taken EVERYTHING out of the kitchen, scrubbed down every surface, scoured all the pots and pans, washed every dish, wipe every bottle and returned it to its rightful place. All before lunch!

Yesterday I updated the "Meet the Crew" section of the website, so be sure to go and check it out so you can say hello to all of us next time you visit.

Enjoy the sunshine!

Great post and blessed with a sunny day! Hope the entire week goes well! You have to start somewhere...so it may as well be in the kitchen. Looking forward to meeting the crew online and especially in person.

What a contrast with the first photo of mountain fresh air to that of the kitchen with the crew wearing masks. It should be all " downhill" after the dreaded kitchen cleaning! Glad you have that mission accomplished! Can't wait to meet you all. Welcome Ruthie and Brian and all the crew. Love that "the Householders" are back, a match made in heaven. They are great with the llamas. See you soon!

You know, you really should train the mice and Edgars to assist in this. Lala lala lalalaaa! (if Amy Adams could do it...)

I don't see Tim cleaning. Maybe he is hidden behind a mask.
