The guests awoke to the sounds of thunder and an impressive lighting display. We have received over a half inch of rain. The rain is currently tapering off and the valley is coming into view. The visibility is the furthest I have seen it in a long time.

Same here around 2:00a in London, KY. I awoke and wondered if the lodge was receiving similar weather; which cabin is that in the photo ? cannot remember it; have a good week.

Hello to Allyson, Chris, and the entire amzing crew up top: It is a balmy 73 degrees in Michigan...and yes, I am John's aunt who enjoyed a wonderful time with all of you the last of Sept. A bit late but not forgotten is my heartfelt thank you for the wonderful hospitality, delicious food, and 2 of the most restful nights I have had in a long time. The rain on our day of departure was fitting and that too, was enjoyable! You have an awesome home for almost 9 months of the year, and I feel truly blessed that I was able to be a part of it for even a few days. Hope all are well and my hugs and hellos to a great team! Enjoy your last days and safe journey as you venture towards your homes. Diane Comments are closed.
