_Morning,
It was another spring day yesterday. The high was 35. The low was 16, but that was yesterday morning. It's gotten warmer as the day has gone on. It was 34 and clear at observation. It looks like it'll be another nice day to be out today. I had a nice, slow morning yesterday. I was fortunate enough to meet Mac, Stew & Ed, a few of the volunteer AT maintainers that help to keep the shelters and privies clean. Thanks for all your hard work guys! I had a short hike about halfway down Alum yesterday. There is some black ice in spots, so beware! I came back up about an hour before sunset and was lucky enough to catch that at Cliff Tops. I had a nice evening catching up with some friends from the AT. I'm looking forward to getting in a hike today before what looks like 3 days of rainy weather.

I haven't commented in a LONG time but couldn't wait any longer to tell you what a great job you're doing! JP, the pics and posts are amazing!! By the way, I'm an uncle of crew members, John Northrup & Bonnie Scott, soon to be Northrup. This quote was on my daily calendar today & I thought of you in the near future: "To one who lives in the snow and watches it day by day, it is a book to be read. The pages turn as the wind blows..." -John Haines "Pieces of Places"
