![]() I thought I would post a picture of the lunch you are served if you stay two nights. A lot of people ask me how long most people stay. I tell them that most people stay one night, if you want to truly experience the mountain, you will want to stay at least two. The next question I get is, "What is there to do on the mountain?". I tell people, if the weather is good, there are several small day hikes you can do. Most people enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountain. That usually involves a nap and a good book. There is something for everyone on the mountain. It is a great place to unwind and enjoy nature.

One of the things I always enjoy when at the lodge is eating lunch, especially with the crew a time or two. As for what to do while at the lodge, that's easy for me: sit on my patootie in a rocking chair most of the day !

I'm with Doug--I don't need any activities to keep me occupied. Peace, beauty and solitude offer all I need!

So much for surfing the web, now you've made me get up and find something to eat!

Hush Allyson. This is a secret. It will make it more difficult for those of us already planning on multi-day stays to get reservations if you keep telling people how wonderful it is! Comments are closed.
