![]() Digging out the propane field Yesterday brought a brief moment of sunshine. It was not clear enough to fly, but it certainly helped the crew. We are currently on stand by to see if things clear up. The low last night was 22 with a high of 30 degrees with a 1/2" of new snow. We now have 34" of snow. We are now looking for people to help with the airlift up top. If anyone is interested in helping please contact me thru the contact page. You must be able to hike 5 miles in deep snow conditions. We have limited amount of space, so please contact me before hiking up. We need people that could hike up today, if possible. Everyone else, please keep sending the positive vibes our way, it seems to be working.

Oh, what I wouldn't give to have some crampons and something to keep the snow out of my boots. Of course, the kids might wonder where I was when the got home from school today, but I would have loved to be there to see and help.

Now, if you can strap us to one of those cargo nets, or have the chopper drop us off, I'll go get them out of school right this second and you'll have six extra helping hands. :)

Again, just wondering: Do the llamas start their thrice-weekly trips up to the lodge the first week ? I would imagine that the snow might affect them this first or second week. Got to see this sight, too. Comments are closed.
