The Lodge is reporting no precipitation, but is has dropped to 20, so all of the wet surfaces are now becoming very icy. Ice traction devices will definitely be needed tomorrow. Hopefully, Allyson will be able to update tomorrow morning.

Ok. A fair report live from the lodge. 2:42:54 min in duration which gave a decent depiction of life at the lodge and my question was answered as the reporter said their tv crew would be giving reports "throughout the night" with more to come at 4:30p. It could be interesting...............

Been watching Channel 6 since 4pm and what a great report by Kristin Farley! Bravo! This has been a long time coming and I hope they do something every year.

I, too, enjoyed the five segments on the Lodge by WATE reporter Kristin Farley and I thought that she did an excellent job, clear, fair, enthusiastic, and very heartfelt ! I wrote a detailed opinion on my own web site so as not to take up much space here. Overall, it was as much a good tribute to Allyson and Chris as it was an account about the lodge in general. I give it very good marks.

We would like to thank all of the Mt.Leconte crew for making our wedding perfect lastnight. All of you went above and beyond to make sure that it went beautifully. Even though it was raining, it turned out to be absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for everything.

Congratulations Robert and Kisha! What a fantastic place to have your wedding. Keep coming back and bring your kids too, my parents started bringing me and my brothers when I was 8 and I am still coming at 64.

Thank you Steve D. This was the second time that we made the hike up. We had 17 family members go with us. We will definitely be back several times! !!! Leave a Reply. |
