High 25, Low 10

The Llamas and the llama caretaker, Alan, is on vacation now, supplies are brought up in a backpack. The picture from yesterday is the moon, Had a really cool pink cloud hanging around it, couldn't get the colors exactly how I wanted them though. As far as the kindle, I just never splurged for one mainly because, I spend so much time in places with extreme weather, and spend a lot of that time outdoors, my experience with most technology is that they aren't made for that kind of use. Enjoying the sun.

Bet you are glad to that sun! You'll probably get a few visitors today.

CRH is back to Denton and we are empty nesters again.

I've had "cabin fever" here in the lowlands! I'm not sure I could do what you do as far as being isolated!

Beautiful day for a hike. Hope Tim and guest made the hike without trouble. Not sure i could stand being there by myself for weeks on end. :)

Not sure if you have used these before but check them out http://www.overshoe.com/ .....This is the Neos overshoe company, we use them in the woods here in Florida and they make them for extreme winter conditions to. Gotta be more comfortable then the XtraTuffs.

P.S Do you happen to have a camera tripod up there, I would love to see some long night time exposures <star trails> with perhaps a cabin or two in the foregroud.

Just hoping that my crew made it up there today. It includes my 17 year old son and my brother, plus maybe 7 more brave or crazy guys. You're pictures are really nice. I was up there a month or so ago and there was about a foot of snow on then. Now there's soooo much more. But my 9, 12 and 15 year olds all made up and back in all that snow. They loved it. It was the 12 year old's 3rd trip up LeConte.
