Good afternoon! Welcome back to the mountain, and its happenings. It's very nice to be back atop for me. It seems like I was away for a very long time. The weather is much cooler than when I left last week and compared to temperatures down in town. I returned yesterday to tempertures in the lower 50s. It actually only reached 53. Then, overnight it dropped down to the lower 40s. Currently, it's only 51 degrees. Mitch has been training as the assistant llama wrangler. Today was one of his first trips up the mountain solo. Look for him on some days filling in and hiking up Trillium Gap trail.

Welcome back; I'm trying to get my grandson interested in a trip up to the lodge and he asked what exactly do the llamas carry back and forth from there; I'm not sure myself after being there the times that I have; When I tell others about the lodge and especially the llamas, some have a bit of a time understanding their use; I try to explain it to them but perhaps you have a better explanation; I think I know how you feel to be back up there. G'day.
