Old man winter does not want to let go of the mountain. We had a day of hoar frost followed by evening snow showers. There is less than an inch in most places. Our high yesterday was 30º with a low of 26º. It is cold this morning and I am guessing there will be some slick spots on the trails. Be careful and dress appropriately.

Ol' Man Winter will eventually give up, but until then... I remember back a couple of years we came up in mid May and got a light dusting of snow just before supper time and next morning there was ice everywhere. It melted quickly and we didn't have any problems as we headed down. I think we all agree that any time spent at the Lodge & on the mountain is always, always good. Enjoy the day, y'all.

Enjoyed the hike even with the wintery mix we encountered. And as always, many thanks for your wonderful hospitality. Comments are closed.
